Consumer Information Collection Policies

For each visitor to our websites, our web server automatically recognizes the consumer’s domain name and IP address, but not the email address.

We collect the following information:

  • The domain name, but not the email address, of visitors to our websites;
  • The email addresses of those who communicate with us electronically;
  • Information provided by consumers who register as users, enter contests and sweepstakes, and/or make online purchases at our websites.
  • Aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit;
  • Information volunteered by the consumer, such as event registrations, survey information and/or site registrations.

The information we collect may be used to improve the content of our websites or used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes.  If information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information, is being collected for possible publication, that intention will be stated clearly in the information request.

We also allow access to our databases by third parties that provide us with services, such as technical maintenance or forums software, but only to the extent necessary to provide those services. If you purchase items on our websites, we may forward your information to third parties for services such as credit card processing and order fulfillment.

If you provide credit card and other financial information in connection with the online purchase of goods and/or services from AAMP, such information shall be used by AAMP only for the purpose of processing the payments and shall not be maintained on file by AAMP.

There are also times when you provide information about yourself to us in areas of an AAMP website that are managed or participated in by third parties, such as advertiser-sponsored contests or online directories where you may request information directly from advertisers or other third parties. In such cases, the information may be used by us and by such third party, each according to its own policies. AAMP is not responsible for the policies or practices of these advertisers or other third parties.

There may also be occasions when we are required by law, legal process, litigation and/or requests from public or governmental authorities to provide access to our databases, or to disclose information about you. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our operations or users, or to enforce our terms and conditions.  In those instances, the information is provided only for that purpose.

In the event that AAMP is acquired by, merges with, and/or sells its assets to a third party, or becomes aligned with another company or business entity, we may transfer any and all information we collect to the relevant third party, who shall be entitled to use this information, as set forth in the Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We may use cookies to control the display of ads, to track usage patterns on the websites, to deliver editorial content, and to record registration and personalization information. Our cookies may contain personally identifiable information and such cookies may be shared with our affiliated companies, such as a credit card processing provider. Some of our advertisers occasionally employ cookies as well. We do not have control over cookies placed by advertisers and are not responsible for such cookies.

If you don’t want to accept cookies, your web browser probably includes an option that rejects them.  However, if you set your browser to reject cookies, some portions of our websites may not function properly.

While your individual information is protected as outlined above, we reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymous data about our users as a group for any business purpose, such as analyzing usage trends and seeking compatible advertisers and partners.
